On 23 August 2026, MRPO held its opening ceremony with many people attending from different sectors. The gathering marked a shared beginning for the organization and its commitment to migrant rights.
At the center of MRPO’s mission is a commitment to promoting and protecting migrant rights through advocacy, awareness, empowerment, partnership, and community-based action.
That commitment is reflected in seven program priorities: rights awareness, safe migration, worker protection, legal information and referral, anti-trafficking, returnee support, and research and advocacy.
